Delicous and interesting flavor. Two to three weeks maturity is required. This beer starts out excessively smoky and malty sweet with bacon flavor while it is young. As it matures the smoke flavor and sweet malt balances out.


  • 16 lbs - Smoked Malt (9.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Carafoam (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.1 oz - Magnum [14.0%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.50 tsp - Irish Moss (Boil 10 min) (Misc)
  • 1 pkgs - Dry English Ale (White Labs #WLP007) (Yeast)
