This is my favourite beer [This week]. The flavour profile is smooth and malty with a roasty bite and a very smooth hop character. The 1728 Scottish yeast imparts a very subtle smoked character. An Edinburgh water profile will suit this beer style.

  • 7 lbs 11.5 oz - Pale Ale (2-row) (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 10.6 oz - Cara Pale (5.1 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3.5 oz - Roasted Barley (761.4 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3.5 oz - Sugar, Table (Sucrose) (1.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.1 oz - Fuggles [4.5%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.7 oz - Fuggles [4.5%] - Boil 20 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - SafAle English Ale (DCL/Fermentis #S-04) (Yeast)
