Description:

This beer is great, good balance and chuggability. It could be made more hoppy with late addition hops or very simple with just a small amount of late hops and slightly lower IBU's.

  • 8 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs 8.0 oz - Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (1.6 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Bohemian Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Rice, Flaked (1.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 12.0 oz - Honey Malt (20.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 8.0 oz - Carafoam (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.6 oz - Willamette [5.5%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 2.20 - Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 1.5 oz - Willamette [5.5%] - Boil 5 min (Hops)
  • 2.0 oz - Willamette [5.5%] - Boil 0 min (Hops)
  • 2 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
