1) First taste from thief 3 days before crashing was very good. Some fruity esters with a pretty dominant belgian yeast flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 18 lbs - Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3.0 oz - Tettnang [3.7%] - First Wort (Hops)
  • 3 lbs - Candi Sugar, Clear (0.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.0 oz - Hellertau [4.1%] - Steep 10 min (Hops)
  • 4 pkgs - Belgian Ardennes (Wyeast Labs #3522) (Yeast)
  • 2.00 tsp - Yeast Nutrient (Primary 3 days) (Misc)
