Description:

First taste, 3/31/13, 2 weeks in bottles. Definitely carbed. Nice amber color, taste is smooth and bitter, but not overly bitter like modern IPA's. Aroma is very mild.

  • 10 lbs 8.0 oz - Pale Malt (6 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2 lbs 4.0 oz - Maize, Flaked (Thomas Fawcett) (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs 14.0 oz - Munich Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 9.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.0 oz - Cluster [7.5%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.8 oz - Brewer's Gold [9.4%] - Boil 25 min (Hops)
  • 1.00 tsp - Irish Moss (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 1.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [5.0%] - Boil 3 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - California Ale (White Labs #WLP001) (Yeast)
  • 1.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [6.6%] - Dry Hop 365 days (Hops)
