Description:

The head is roboust and slightly off white. The color is a cloudy burnt orange r. Very hoppy! The aroma is a complex bouquet of hops with a pronounced citrus and dank quality. The taste is powerfully bitter with the same dankness as the aroma. There is an slight astringent finish and an alcohol burn. No previeved malt flavor. When comparing it to the orgial Hop Stoopid by Laguinitas, The color and flavors are very similar. However the dank quility in my version was not present in the commercial version, this was the only seriously noticable difference in the two. I would suggest it is 90% cloned.

  • 9.3 oz - Victory Malt (25.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 4.9 oz - Columbus (Tomahawk) [15.0%] - Boil 90 min (Hops)
  • 1.2 oz - Cascade [6.0%] - Boil 12 min (Hops)
  • 1.2 oz - Chinook [13.0%] - Boil 12 min (Hops)
  • 2.3 oz - Simcoe [13.0%] - Steep 0 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
  • 3.1 oz - Columbus (Tomahawk) [15.0%] - Dry Hop 0 days (Hops)
  • 1.6 oz - Simcoe [13.0%] - Dry Hop 0 days (Hops)
  • 0.8 oz - Chinook [13.0%] - Dry Hop 0 days (Hops)
