Description:

A decent beer. Fairly bitter. Tastes a little thin. Perhaps a half pound of carapils to enhance the body. Maybe a .25 pound of 60L carmel malt. Maybe a differenct yeast strain.

  • 5 lbs - Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Rye Malt (4.7 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Wheat Malt, Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 8.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L (40.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 8.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L (80.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.4 oz - Roasted Barley (300.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.6 oz - Galena [13.2%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - German Pearle [8.3%] - Boil 30 min (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - German Pearle [8.3%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - American Ale Yeast Blend (White Labs #WLP060) (Yeast)
