Description:

This an outstanding beer. Not as fruity and clove-like as a normal Hefe. Much more subtle. Could have been the low fermentaion temp and the American Hefe yeast. Oraneg peel amount is just right. Don't change anything.

  • 6 lbs 8.0 oz - Wheat Dry Extract (8.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.5 oz - Cascade [5.5%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Citra [12.3%] - Boil 5 min (Hops)
  • 0.50 oz - Orange Peel, Sweet (Boil 5 min) (Misc)
  • 1 pkgs - American Hefeweizen Ale (White Labs #WLP320) (Yeast)
  • 12.0 oz - Honey (1.0 SRM) (Grain)
