Description:

Good beer. Heavy, slightly sweet. About the right balance overall. Maybe a little too big for the style. Probably good to come down a few points in gravity. Keep the same hop schedule. Perhaps mash at a lower temp to dry it out a bit.

Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs 8.0 oz - Wheat Malt, Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Corn, Flaked (1.3 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Rye Malt (4.7 SRM) (Grain)
  • 8.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.6 oz - Centennial [9.9%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Sorachi Ace [10.3%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
