nice beer, nice head, initial sips have watery aftertaste but then becomes more balanced, would do this again.

  • 2.0 oz - Willamette [5.5%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 1.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [5.0%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 0.25 tsp - Irish Moss (Boil 10 min) (Misc)
  • 1.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [5.0%] - Steep 5 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - London ESB Ale (Wyeast Labs #1968) (Yeast)

My first attempt at all grain. This turned out really great. Had a slightly astringent aftertaste that I don't know the cause of (hard water?). Looking forward to doing another one. I like the character of the Maris Otter malt.
