Description:

Ft Hood gives an un-mistakable pine cone flavor. Won't be doing this recipe again. Ft Hood hops was a recomended substitute for hallertau because my brew shop was out of Hall.

Ingredients:

  • 5.00 gal - Ozarka (Water)
  • 3 lbs - Wheat Malt, Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Rice, Flaked (1.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.0 oz - Mt. Hood [4.5%] - Boil 30 min (Hops)
  • 3 lbs 4.8 oz - Wheat Liquid Extract (Briess Bavarian wheat) [Boil for 10 min] (8.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.0 oz - Mt. Hood [4.5%] - Boil 10 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - German Ale (Wyeast Labs #1007) (Yeast)
