Description:

Citra nose, nice small bite up front, followed by sweet light malt, fairly thick mouthfeel (uncarbonated tasting), citra finish, aftertaste is bitter citrus. Going to dryhop with Citra, thought about using the last ounce of super G too.

  • 11 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs 8.0 oz - Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L (40.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.2 oz - Super Galena [12.0%] - First Wort (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Super Galena [12.0%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Super Galena [12.0%] - Boil 50 min (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Super Galena [12.0%] - Boil 40 min (Hops)
  • 1.03 - Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 0.5 oz - Citra [13.4%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Citra [13.4%] - Boil 7 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Citra [13.4%] - Boil 5 min (Hops)

Took this to a beerfest in Bakersfield, CA. Turned out to be very popular. Light refreshing tropical IPA.
