Description:

American yeast slurry in Dianna's batch. Both batches just over 5 gallons. I pitched Ringwood Ale yeast and half jar of American Ale yeast 1056. No starter, smacked pack 7-8 hours prior to pitching. Aerated with pump.

Ingredients:

  • 20 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs 4.0 oz - Amber Malt (22.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs 4.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Chocolate Malt (450.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 4.0 oz - Roasted Barley (300.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.1 oz - Warrior [16.7%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 1 lbs - Brown Sugar, Dark [Boil for 10 min] (50.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.0 oz - Vanguard [5.5%] - Boil 3 min (Hops)
  • 2 pkgs - Ringwood Ale (Wyeast Labs #1187) (Yeast)
  • 1.0 oz - Columbus (Tomahawk) [14.0%] - Dry Hop 0 days (Hops)
