This is my current best brew!!! Very nice color and the taste is just what I wanted. My wife's favorite who says this is what beer is supposed to taste like, "give me another". For her to say that, it must be good.


  • 1.00 tsp - Epsom Salt (MgSO4) (Mash 60 min) (Misc)
  • 8.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (15.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 12.8 oz - Extra Light Dry Extract (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs 8.0 oz - Pilsner Liquid Extract (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Pale Liquid Extract (8.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.5 oz - Northern Brewer [9.6%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Mt. Hood [6.0%] - Boil 10 min (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Northern Brewer [9.6%] - Boil 10 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Mt. Hood [6.0%] - Boil 5 min (Hops)
  • 2 pkgs - Saflager Lager (DCL/Fermentis #W-34/70) (Yeast)
