This is one of my favorite summer ales. Light and very refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 4.0 oz - Rice Hulls (0.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 6 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs 12.0 oz - Rye Malt (4.7 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2 lbs - Wheat Malt, Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.0 oz - Willamette [5.0%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 1.00 tsp - Irish Moss (Boil 10 min) (Misc)
  • 0.5 oz - Crystal [3.0%] - Steep 0 min (Hops)
  • 2 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
  • 1.00 tsp - Yeast Nutrient (Primary 3 days) (Misc)

Even though the ABV is a bit high, this is a very nice, drinkable ale. Reshreshing. No need for lemon or orange wheels, kind of citrusy on its own
