The kegged version was beyond escellent! One of my all time favorite brews.


  • 25 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (1.9 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Wheat Malt, Ger (1.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 15.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L (80.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 6.1 oz - Peat Smoked Malt (2.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 4.0 oz - Roasted Barley (690.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [5.3%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 2 pkgs - Scottish Ale (Wyeast Labs #1728) (Yeast)

I'll brew up 10 gallons of this one this weekend!Thanks for sharing.Patiently waiting for fermentation to stop. Another week in the primary and a week in the secondary then into the keg! Both batches were good.
