Description:

Good beer, but it's hard to have a bad IPA! A little short of hops in the inventory, but at least they are very high %alpha to make up the difference.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 90L (90.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Amber Dry Extract (12.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs - Extra Light Dry Extract (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.5 oz - Columbus (Tomahawk) [14.3%] - Boil 45 min (Hops)
  • 1.00 tsp - Irish Moss (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 2 pkgs - Dry Ale Yeast (Nottingham #) (Yeast)
  • 1 lbs 8.0 oz - Honey (1.0 SRM) (Grain)

Everyone loved it! Sparked my grains so it turned out darker and added an extra 1/2 oz of hops at end of boil..my hops only came in 1 oz bags, why waste it?
