American Pale Ale


Ale made from muscovado sugar; which is a type of unrefined brown sugar with a strong molasses flavor


  • 1.5 oz Golden Cluster hops (40 min)
  • 0.25 oz Cascade hops (flameout)
  • 17.5 oz Muscovado sugar (flameout)
  • 16 oz raw sugar (flameout)
  • 16 oz black strap molasses (flameout)
  • 1 tsp yeast nutrient (10 min after flameout)
  • 1 pkg Safeale yeast
  • Brewing notes: Converted from metric - measurements rounded/estimated

Primary Ferment: 14 days at 72 - 77 degrees
