American Pale Ale

Description:

Ale made from corn and molasses, and no sorghum

Ingredients:

  • 0.7 kg / 24.5 oz Molasses (prior boil)
  • 3.32 kg / 7.4 lbs Corn Malt/Syrup (prior to boil)
  • 50 g / 1.75 oz Zatecky Poloranny Cervenak / Czech Saaz Hops (60 min)
  • 50 g / 1.75 oz Zatecky Poloranny Cervenak / Czech Saaz Hops (15 min)
  • 50 g / 1.75 oz Zatecky Poloranny Cervenak / Czech Saaz Hops (flameout)
  • 1 pkg SafBrew Ale S-33 Yeast

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 14 days at 68 degrees

Procedure:

Bring waterto boil, and primary fermentable sugars, return to boil and achieve hot break.

Add hops according to schedule.

Chill wort until appropriate temperature to pitch yeast.
