Dry Stout

Description:

Uber delicious stout. It is a little sweeter than an Irish stout but drier than an English stout. Kegged this and plan on making it a staple in the kegerator

Ingredients:

  • 10 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) UK (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2 lbs - Barley, Flaked (1.7 SRM) (Grain)
  • 12.0 oz - Roasted Barley - GR620 (500.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 8.0 oz - Chocolate Malt - GR600 (450.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.0 oz - Black (Patent) Malt - 550L
  • 2.0 oz - Fuggles [3.9%] - 90 min (Hops)
  • 2.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [4.7%] - 10 min (Hops)
  • English ale yeast(safale-S04)

Additional Instructions

Boil: 90 Minutes
Primary Ferment: 1 week
Secondary Ferment: 9 days

Made this one and it is sooo yummy! Very close to Guinness, but richer in flavor. Great notes of chocolate and coffee. Very creamy head!
