Procedure:

Steep grains at 155 for 30 minutes, remove, stir in liquid malt extract. Bring that to a boil. follow the hops schedule above during your boil. After 60 minutes has done, remove your boil. Cool it down to around 65 degrees, and pitch your yeast. Ferment this for around ten days , then move into secondary. leave in secondary for two weeks. If your bottling let these stand a additional week. If you want a better porter let it stand for as long as you can before you go nuts thinking about it. If your kegging, you can give it a go within two days.. The longer you let this stand, the more you'll fall in love with it.. I have never gotten a bad review with this recipe.

You can find the hops at jh stienbarts. A good shop online. This is a real good porter, great mouth feel. Good strong flavor, like a cup of espresso.

Great porter. Rich and full. Never a bad remark from porter or stout fans.
