A slightly different version of T. Rhorer's Citra Pale Ale, in that I used crystal 40L and Wyeast 1075 West Coast IPA yeast. Turned out awesome!

Steep specialty grains at 158 deg. F for 60 minutes in 3 gallons of water. Drain. Bring to boil, and add DME. Bring to boil and add hops as follows: 1 oz Simcoe at 60 minutes, 1 oz Simcoe at 30 minutes, 1/2 oz Citra at 10 minutes, and 1/2 oz Citra at 5 minutes. West Coast IPA smack pack, then rack for 7 days in primary. Rack in secondary with cones for 14 days. 6.3 ABV. Cheers!
