Description:

A medium-bodied ale with strong caramel and roasted barley flavors. It has an amber color, malty sweetness and a hint of smokiness with a clean, dry finish.

Ingredients:

  • 11 lbs - Pale Malt (2 Row) US
  • 2 oz - Roasted Barley
  • 1 lb - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L
  • .5 oz - Peat Smoked Malt
  • 4 oz - Acid Malt
  • 1 oz - East Kent Goldings (60 min)
  • 1 pkg - DCL/Fermentis Safale S-04

Additional Instructions

Boil: 60 Minutes
Primary Ferment: 3 weeks
Secondary Ferment: No secondary
