Common Cider


Wonderful, crisp, clear, bubbly delicious cider.


  • 6 gal. Apple juice (with vitamin c)
  • 2.5 cups brown sugar
  • Champagne yeast

Additional Instructions

Boil: 15 Minutes
Primary Ferment: 1 week
Secondary Ferment: 2 weeks

Start with around 32 oz of juice and dissolve the brown sugar, until clear.
Cool for a bit, adding to carboy, once at 75 degrees pitch yeast, continue adding juice to make 5 gallons.
Before bottling, take 2 can of juice concentrate and add to bottling bucket with racked cider. Bottle, but beware of cider bombs, i had one epic explosion.
