  • 1 OZ.WILLEMETTE HOPS
  • 2 TSPS.IRISH MOSS
  • WLP 005 BRITISH ALE YEAST
  • 1LB.EXTRA DARK SPRAY DRIED MALT EXTRACT FOR PRIMING 5 GALS.@BOTTELING

BRING 4 GALS.OF WATER TO A BOIL FOR 15 MIN.ADD 9LBS OF CRACKED GRAINS & 1 LB OF TORRIFIED WHEAT.BRING TEMP BACK UP TO 170 AND ADD 1 OZ OF KENT GOLDINGS.AT 1/2 HOUR IN ADD 2ND OZ.OF KENT GOLDINGS HOPSAT 45 MIN MARK ADD IRISH MOSS & WILLEMETTE HOPS.AT 1 HOUR TAKE OFF OF HEAT AND LET SEEP FOR 15 MIN THEN SPARGE.BRING HOT WORT BACK UP TO 170 & ADD RICE SOLIDS & CAN OF ALEXANDERS EXTRA PALE UHME ONCE LIQUIFIED POUR ENTIRE CONTENTS THROUGH A LARGE FINE MESH STRAINER INTO 2 GALS OF COLD BREWING WATER IN YOUR PRIMARY FERMENTER BRING TOTAL TO 6 GALS.ALLOW TO COOL UNTIL 75 DEGREES PITCH YEAST & CAP .KEEP WORT AT 75 FOR 7 DAYS THEN RACK INTO SECONDARY LEAVING 1/2 GAL WITH UNDISTURBED SEDIMENT TO WASTE IN PRIMARY.AFTER 7 DAYS BOTTLE ALE WITH 1 LB OF DRIED MALT EXTRACT TO 1 GAL OF WATER USE 4 OZ OF THIS PRIMING SOLUTION PER QT.THIS SHOULD YEILD 6 GALS. TOTAL IF YOU LEAVE ANOTHER 1/2 GAL OF SEDIMENT LIQUID IN THE SECONDARY.BOTTLE CONDITION WARM FOR A MONTH OR SO.........ENJOY AT 55 DEGREES
