This is an all-grain version of White House Honey Ale. Taste started off not as sweet and a little "grainier" than the published extract version. After a few months, though, it has filled out and smoothed out quite nicely. Ale to the Chief!


  • 2 lbs - Munich Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 8 lbs - Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs 8.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 12.0 oz - Biscuit Malt (23.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.0 oz - Goldings, East Kent [5.8%] - Boil 30 min (Hops)
  • 1.0 oz - Fuggles [4.5%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 1.00 - Immersion chiller (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 1.00 - Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
