Hermon Lager is after the ski resort we live in israel.
the best temperature for this lager is 15c
it's a nice beer to drink in the summer or when you ski
i do 20L (5 Gal) All grain


  • 4.00 k"g - Pilsner
  • 0.50 k"g - Cara-Pils / Dextrine
  • 0.45 k"g - Caramel / Crystal Malt 60L
  • 30 g"m - Perle 8% - 35 min
  • 30 g"m - perle 8% - 5 min
  • Lager Yeast W-34/70

I mash it at 66c to 65c for 60 min then i sparg it with 76-77c for 30 min
i boil it for 60 min with adding the hops.
puting it fermentation for 3 weeks and bottle it up

Made my very first batch of beer a few months ago and I used this recipe because this is the type of beer that I love to drink. My favorite store bought beer is Vienna Lager by Devil's Backbone. Although I made some mistakes in the process, the beer came out perfectly. I let all my coworkers try it and they absolutely loved it. It was very smooth and refreshing with no aftertaste whatsoever. My wife, who is more of a lite beer drinker now has a new favorite. I also now consider it my favorite as well. Just bottled my second and third batches last weekend, and I can't wait to toss them in the fridge next week.

I apologize for not using the standard format, but I just wanted folks to know that I tried it and I absolutely love it!
