Description:

This was a brew (my first lager) brewed for my brother-in-law who likes Harp. Did a side by side and the color is spot on with the taste a very close match. With lagering, this was crystal clear. I will definitely be keeping some for myself.

Ingredients:

  • 7 lbs - Lager Malt (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 12.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 3 lbs 12.0 oz - Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.0 oz - Hallertauer Hersbrucker [2.3%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Saaz [3.0%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Hallertauer Hersbrucker [2.3%] - Boil 15 min (Hops)
  • 1.00 - Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 1.00 - Immersion chiller (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 0.5 oz - Saaz [3.0%] - Boil 5 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Hallertauer Hersbrucker [2.3%] - Boil 5 min (Hops)
  • 2 pkgs - Bavarian Lager (Wyeast Labs #2206) (Yeast)
