Description:

This is a lighter hopped IPA brewed for a friend who likes Harpoon. First time brewing with fresh picked whole hops. Darker and maltier than Harpoon with a nice fresh hop aroma. Nice balance.

Ingredients:

  • 4.0 oz - Victory Malt (25.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 12 lbs 12.0 oz - Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2.0 oz - Roasted Barley (300.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 14.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1.0 oz - Nugget [12.5%] - Boil 55 min (Hops)
  • 1.00 - Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 1.00 - Immersion chiller (Boil 15 min) (Misc)
  • 0.5 oz - Cascade [5.5%] - Boil 10 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Cascade [5.5%] - Boil 1 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
  • 1.0 oz - Cascade [5.5%] - Dry Hop 7 days (Hops)
