Beer Style: Weizen/Weissbier  (15A)
Recipe Type: all-grain
Yield: 5 US gallons

My mom is a blonde, so I tried to give my dad a blonde he could enjoy in front of her. This is a smooth, malty beer with low to moderate alcohol content and a sweet, clean finish. It also brews nicely with strawberries.

  • 3# Wheat
  • 1/2# Crystal 40
  • 1/2# Honey malt
  • 4# Fresh Strawberries pureed (If desired)
  • 1/2oz. Czech Saaz (60 min.)
  • 1/2oz. Czech Saaz (15 min.)
  • Nottingham Ale Yeast

Additional Instructions
