  • 1.0 lb Briess Honey Grain
  • 1.0 lb Dingmars Belgium Aromatic
  • .5 lb Maltodextrin(8oz)
  • 1 tsp Irish moss
  • 1.0 lb Dark Brown sugar(16oz)
  • .5 lb Honey(8oz)
  • 8.0 lb Liquid Extract (Amber)
  • 1 tsp Gypsum
  • 2 cloves
  • 1.0 oz Cascade Hops
  • 1.0 oz Simcoe Hops
  • .5 oz Amarillo
  • WLP351 Bavarian Weizen Yeast

Primary Ferment: 18 days

1. Steep grains in hop bag with 3.0 gal of water for 45 min @ 155 deg
2. Remove grains
-------------------------Begin 30 minute boil-------------------------
3. Add liquid extract, sugar, honey, Maltodextrin and Gypsum
4. Add 1.0 oz Cascade Hops
5. At 20 minutes add 1.0 oz Simco Hops, 1tsp of Irish Moss and Cloves
6. Combine wort with water to make 5 gallons
7. Pitch yeast (WLP351 Bavarian Weizen Yeast) when wort temp is between 70-80 deg, then add .5oz Amarillo Hops.
