Amber in color with, malty due to the amount of crystal malt. Beer is a clone of the original recipe for Bunker Hill Breweries Pale Ale from Bunker Hill Brewery in Boston, MA.
Original Gravity: 1.050
Final Gravity: 1.012

Yield: 5.00 US Gallons
Add grains to 3 gal 170 degrees F water. Mash grains for 1 hour at 152 to 156 degrees F, Sparge with 3 gal 170 degree F water. Bring wort to a boil and add nothern brewer hops. Last 10 min of boil add 1 tsp Irish moss and goldings hops. Chill to 80 derees F and pitch yeast. Another method for your aroma hops is to mash hop. Add your finishing hops to your mash. I have done it a number of times and it works.
