Bring to a boil 2 1/2 gallons filtered water, add 8 lb dark malt and boil for 60 minutes. At 30 minutes add 1 oz Cascade hops, at 15 minutes add remaining 1 1/2 oz Cascade hops, and at 5 minutes add 14 oz molasses. Strain wort into carboy containing 2 1/2 gallon cold filtered water. Cap and let cool until 90*F, pitch yeast and add yeast nutrient, cap and shake well.
(I'm planning on using a plow-off tube for my second batch) Put on gas-lock and let set 2 weeks. Add 2 second squirt of honey bear per bottle (2tsp), cap tightly and let set for as long as you can stand. Enjoy
