American Brown Ale

Description:

Nice "The One and Only" brown ale. Smooth, light and most importantly, delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 5 lb Briess Golden Light LME
  • 8 oz Turbinado Sugar
  • 4 oz Crisp 120L Crystal
  • 4 oz Crisp Chocolate
  • 2 oz Biscuit
  • 1.5 oz Fuggles (3.6 AA) - 60 min
  • .5 oz Fuggles (3.6 AA) - 20 min
  • Fermentis Safale S-33

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 2 weeks/1 week (if using secondary)
Secondary Ferment: 2 weeks

Original Gravity: 1.044
Final Gravity: 1.011
Alcohol by Vol: 4.32%

Procedure:

Ferment with Fermentis S-33 at about 68 degrees for 2 weeks (in Primary).
Then bottle with about 3.2 oz of corn sugar. Let it mature for about 3 to 5 weeks in the bottle. Enjoy!
