Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer

Description:

This is a very Ginger Beer thought up after eating a whole lot of sushi.

Ingredients:

  • 1500gram dry malt
  • 2000gram brown sugar
  • 5 Lbs fresh ginger
  • 5 lemons luiced
  • 22 ltr water

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 1 week
Secondary Ferment: 1 week

Procedure:

Grind the ginger and boil,when the boil begins slowly add the brown sugar and juiced lemons during a heavy stir. Boil for one hour using 22ltr of water. Add what water you need to fill your primary. Rack into the second after one week then keep in the secondary for one week.

I do not bottle, only keg. so bottling may require some dextrose.
