American Brown Ale


Light, Sweet, and Fragrant. Strong Honey flavor and addt flavor from the Hops and Barley


  • 5# Dry Ale Malt
  • 2# Passion Fruit Honey
  • 2oz Crystal Hops
  • 1/2oz Milled Dark Barley
  • 1pkg Windsor Brewing yeast

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 2-3 Days
Secondary Ferment: 5-7 Days

Bring 3 1/2 gallons of Distilled water to a boil, Stir in Honey(continuously stirring to avoid scorching), Add Dry Ale Malt. Cook for 20 mins. Put Crystal Hops and Dark Barley in a grain bag and drop in mash. Cook for an additional 40 mins. Pull Grain Bag and cool mash to below 90 degrees. Bloom yeast in 1/4 cup water. Pour mash in fermentation bucket(Drop mash in fermentation to agitate mash and pour in bloomed yeast). Top bucket and place air lock in bucket and you are on your way to a good brew.
