Fruit Beer

Description:

A light refreshing beer with a good orange aroma and flavor to drink in the summer.

Ingredients:

  • 7 pounds pale malt extract
  • 1 pound briess 2-row pale ale malt (grain milled)
  • 1 ounce styrain goldlings
  • 1 ounce saaz czech
  • 2 ounces bitter orange peel
  • 1 pack wyeast 1335 british ale

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 5 days
Secondary Ferment: 3 days

Procedure:

steep the 2- row pale malt , then add the extract bring to boil and add the styrain goldlings for 60 minutes, then add the saaz hops at 5 minutes and the orange peel at 3 minutes, makes a 5 gallon batch.
