Common Cider

Description:

high alcohol content drink that warms you up with a slight apple favor and a very sweet taste

Ingredients:

  • 3 gallons 100% apple juice
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 5 cups pure cane sugar
  • 50 raisins
  • red star champagne yeast

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 2 weeks
Secondary Ferment: 1 month

Procedure:

add your apple juice dump in the sugar and yeast stir it up then add the raisins let it ferment in the primary fermenter for 2 weeks then let it set for one month then cold crash it until the alcohol separates from the water strain the alcohol into a mason jar and enjoy separate the raisins before the secondary fermentation
