Beer Style: Blonde Ale  (6B)
Recipe Type: all-grain
Yield: 6.6 US gallons

Blonde Ale
Beer Color

Description:

Such a gentle malt-forward golden ale. It's sweet and gently malty. Despite dry-hopping for 3 days with Nelson Sauvin, hop bitterness and hop aroma was completely non-threatening (almost to its detriment - I think I'd like something a bit more aggressive.)

Ingredients:

  • 10 lbs 5.8 oz - Gladfield Pale Ale (2.8 SRM) (Grain)
  • 10.6 oz - Gladfield Gladiator (3.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.5 oz - Pacific Jade [13.0%] - Boil 90 min (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Nelson Sauvin [12.0%] - Boil 10 min (Hops)
  • 1 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
  • 0.4 oz - Nelson Sauvin [12.8%] - Dry Hop 3 days (Hops)
  • 0.2 oz - Nelson Sauvin [12.0%] - Dry Hop 3 days (Hops)

Additional Instructions

Boil: 90 Minutes
