Description:

Using a recipe that came with Beer Smith software (Bridal Veil) I made some deviations and added more and different hops.

Ingredients:

  • 10.00 lb Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM)
  • 1.00 lb Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM)
  • 1.00 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM)
  • 1.00 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50%] (60 min)
  • 1.00 oz Centennial [7.70%] (15 min)
  • 1.00 oz Mt. Hood [6.00%] (5 min)
  • 1.00 oz Citra [11.10%] (Dry Hop 3 days)
  • 1 Pkgs American Ale II (Wyeast Labs #1272) Yeast-Ale

Procedure:

Single Infusion, Light Body, No Mash Out
Sparge Water: 4.35 gal Sparge Temperature: 168.0 F
Mash In Add 15.00 qt of water at 161.4 F 150.0 F 75 min

Simple single infusion mash for use with most modern well modified grains (about 95% of the time).
