American IPA

Description:

West coast style IPA with some colored malts to offset hops.

Ingredients:

  • 15 lbs pale malt
  • 1lb munich
  • 1 lb carapils
  • 1 0z chinook pellets first wort
  • 1 oz chinook pellets 60 min
  • 2 oz amarillo pellets 30 min
  • 2 oz amarillo pellets 5 min
  • 2 oz amarillo pellets knock out
  • 2 oz amarillo pellets dry hop secondary
  • wyeast 1056 starter 500 ml

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 7 days
Secondary Ferment: 7 days
