A friend gave me a couple of Mr. Beer ingredient kits so I thought I would try something different. This is rather dark in color with a chocolate/coffee aftertaste when I sampled it when transfering to secondary.

steeped chocolate malt for 20 min. @ 150-160
heated to boil, added LME and DME, returned to boil
added hops boiled 60 minutes
cooled to 75 degrees, pitched yeast
