Ingredients:

  • 10 # Pale Malt (2 row) US
  • .5 # Crystal Malt 80L
  • .5 # Chocolate Malt
  • .5 oz Nugget Hops 60 min
  • .5oz Nugget hops 45 min
  • .5oz Nugget hops 15 min
  • .5 oz Nugget hops 5 min
  • 8 oz Malto dextrin 60 min
  • 1 pk London Ale Yeast (White Labs #WLP013)
  • 10 gallons Water

Primary Ferment: 1 week
Secondary Ferment: 1 week

Procedure:

Clean and Prepare equipment.
Measure ingredients and crush grains
Heat water to 170 F.
Mash grains for 60 min
Sparge
Boil and add malto dextrin and first hops
add 2nd hops after 15 min.
add 3rd hops after 45 min.
add aromatic hops last 5 min.
cool to 70 F. within 15 min
add yeast. ferment 1 week.
