Premium American Lager

Description:

Medium color. True lager. Must let it age 4 weeks to appreciate. Excellent.

Ingredients:

  • 5lbs Light dry extract
  • 1/2lb Crystal
  • 2 1/2lbs Clover Honey
  • 2oz Perle Hops
  • 1oz Tettnanger Hops
  • Lager Yeast

Primary Ferment: 24 days

Final Gravity: 1.027

Procedure:

Boil all except Tettnanger for 45 mins. Add 1/2oz Tettnanger with 10 min left in boil. Steep 1/2oz Tettnanger for 2 min after boil is complete. Must ferment in cool area 35-40 F. Takes weeks to ferment.
