ABV 5.5-6%


  • 8 lb. 2-row
  • 1 lb. crystal 60L
  • .5 lb. home-toasted 2-row (350* for 45 minutes)
  • .25 lb. victory
  • .25 lb. Special B
  • .5 lb. brown sugar (15 min. left in boil)
  • 2 oz. Mt. Hood pellets (5%) 60 min.
  • 1 oz. Mt. Hood pellets (5%) 15 min.
  • 1 oz. Mt. Hood pellets (5%) DH
  • WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast

Primary Ferment: 14 days
Secondary Ferment: 21 days

Batch sparge - mash in at 152* for one hour to four hours, sparge with 180* to collect 6 gallons. Primary @ 65*, secondary cooler, or even lager that ale! Pitch a healthy dose of a good english yeast, like WLP007 or WY1968.

Live in South Africa and had to make some small substitutions in the grain bill but turned out brilliantly.
