American Pale Ale

Description:

Good head retention real ale flavour. could have used more hops but am not a hop head .Will make this one again .

Ingredients:

  • 3.3lbs coopers lite extract 2 lbs dry malt extract
  • 1 pale malt crushed
  • .5 lb crystal malt2 oz perle hops
  • nottingham yeast

Procedure:

Boil crushed malt in steeping bag for 20 minutes. Add malt extract and 1.5 oz hops for 90 min boil. .5 oz hops added for last 5 minutes of boil. Let cool add yeast and ferment for 10 days.
