Description:

Very good beer. If you like a light colored, lightly hopped, summer thirst quencher, this brew is for you! It could use a little better head retention, so I might try adding some Cara-Pils to the next batch.

Ingredients:

  • 5.75 gal - Distilled Water (Water)
  • 8.0 oz - Caramel/Crystal Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) (Grain)
  • 2 lbs - Extra Light Dry Extract (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 1 lbs - Pilsner Liquid Extract (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
  • 0.5 oz - Mt. Hood [6.0%] - Boil 60 min (Hops)
  • 0.5 oz - Mt. Hood [6.0%] - Boil 22 min (Hops)
  • 0.50 - Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 5 min) (Misc)
  • 1 pkgs - Safale American (DCL/Fermentis #US-05) (Yeast)
  • 5 lbs - Pilsner Liquid Extract (3.5 SRM) (Grain)
