Common Cider

Description:

Fresh apple sparkling cidar Wonderful aroma and really liked sparkling hard cidar

Ingredients:

  • 5 gal FRRRREEESSSHHH off press. streight into carboy, sweet cidar
  • 2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Muntons Dry Ale Yeast

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 10 days exactly and then bottle

Procedure:

Put cidar streight into carboy to get cidar home.
Drain 1 quart and warm just enough to disolve brown sugar
Pour back into primary and pitch yeast

Primary only and then bottle and cold crash.
CUATION! DO NOT ADD ANY MORE PRIMING SUGAR.
There is enough sugar and yeast activity to fully carbinate.
This leaves enough sweetness and flavor to be fantastic!
We bottled some in plastic jugs, which was good, but bottled was way better.
