northdown hops provide a unique finish


  • 6 lbs pale ale malt
  • 1/2 lb leftover inventory (light colored) such flaked barley or munich malt
  • 1 lb muntons crystal 49-64L
  • 1 oz muntons roasted barley (for a reddish tinge)
  • 1/4 lb dark brown sugar
  • 5 aau willamette hops pellets - 60 min
  • 3-4 aau northdown hops pellets 10 min (plugs would be real nice)
  • nottingham ale yeast
