Cream Ale

Description:

Nice clean crisp with dry finish due to 1056 ale yeast and adition of honey at day #2 of fermentation. Very clear and straw in color. Great hop flavor/aroma very easy to drink for the beer noobs.And outdoor work!

Ingredients:

  • 2.5# AMERICAN 2ROW
  • 3# LITE MALT EXTRACT
  • 2# LITE DME
  • 1oz CARAPILS
  • 3oz HONEY MALT
  • 1.5# RED WHEAT
  • 1# MALTO-DEXTRINS
  • 1# CLOVER HONEY
  • 1oz PERLE PELLETS 45 min
  • .5oz GALENA 60min
  • 1oz AMARILLO 20min
  • YEAST WYEAST 1056 AMERICAN

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 2 1/2 WEEKS
Secondary Ferment: USE OF CONICAL FERMENTERS ( add to glass fermente

Procedure:

Mash 2-row and red wheat, at final 25min add honey malt and carapils.Bring to the liquour to boil and add hops and DME then add LME cool pitch yeast and stash it away. 2 days in to fermentation and clover honey gose in. Bottle when ready and enjoy! cheers!!!!!
